Interview (Excerpts from a conversation with Renzo Piano)

..."I will never call on another architect to discuss architecture. We will talk of other things. The Building Workshop swims in a somewhat different world to most other architects. We want to swim in life, not in architecture. And the best moments are when by swimming in life we catch exactly what we need to take back and make our buildings..."
"... For me, lack of decision is not indecision, but a power to keep things alive. The process of design is like watching a bacterial culture grow under a microscope. Design is also a continuous process of slow advance". (Renzo Piano, architect).
